Dr. Henri Roche is a full professor of Medical Oncology at Toulouse University (exceptional class) and the Director of Medical Affairs at the Institut Claudius Reguad and at the Institut Universitaire du Cancer, site Oncopole. He received his MD from the Medicine Faculty Toulouse Rangueil and his PhD from Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse. His professional interests lie in breast cancer therapy and early phase new drugs.
Dr. Roche started his career as a research staff associate at Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia University in New York. From 1994 to 2007 he was the Chairman of the Breast Medical Program at the French Federation of Cancer Centers (PEGASE and PACS programs). From 2004 to 2007, Dr. Roche was the Director of the Medical Oncology department at the Institut Claudius Regaud.
Dr. Roche is a member of the National University Council for Oncology, and has been president of the national oncology section since 2013. He is also a full member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).
